Design-Build Done Right

As the only organization that defines, teaches and promotes best practices in design-build project delivery, educational programs are developed to teach practical "how to" strategies and techniques for the effective implementation of design-build project delivery. Courses and programs developed and delivered by DBIA utilize interactive learning strategies to teach topics ranging from an introduction of design-build techniques to advanced application of design-build concepts. All are designed to impart practical learning which can be utilized immediately. We are dedicated to providing exceptional learning experiences through a variety of formats that make continuing education accessible with the highest quality.

 Continuing Education

Credits earned at DBIA courses and conferences qualify for elective or continuing education credit needed for the DBIA™ and Assoc. DBIA™ certification. DBIA's courses are approved for AIA continuing education credit. Engineers and contractors are responsible for applying for their own PDHs and PE credits. DBIA cannot guarantee that all boards will accept all DBIA credits; please check with your licensing board for more information.

 Federal Schedule

Discounts are available for federal government agencies and employees under DBIA’s GSA Federal Supply Schedule. GSA has negotiated the prices, services and terms covering DBIA’s training and professional development  services under the program, so you’re assured the best quality at the most economical price, making doing business with us an efficient and hassle-free experience.
Open enrollment or on site delivery is available through our GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract GS-02F-105BA.

 Our Instructors

Establishing and maintaining public confidence in the professionalism, honesty, ability and integrity of DBIA instructors is fundamental to the success of DBIA’s education program, our members and the A/E/C industry. DBIA believes strongly that the distinguishing characteristic of a quality instructor is the ability to combine ethical standards and technical skills with the mastering of presentation skills and attendee engagement.
DBIA takes pride in having a pool of approved faculty/instructors that represent this highest level of professionalism and knowledge. We consider our instructors an extension of the DBIA staff who are there for your benefit, and who refrain from any private business or professional activity that would create a conflict between their own personal interests and your professional development needs.
